Following the conclusion of the work of the Envision Loudoun Comprehensive Plan Update Stakeholders Committee in early July, the Loudoun County Preservation and Conservation Coalition has announced the continuation of its work to ensure that the final plan presented before the Planning Commission and then the Board of Supervisors captures citizens’ priorities in a strong plan containing the policies and metrics to ensure the vision and goals are met.
“As with any project of this complexity and scale, which is so important to the future of the County, there are areas in which we believe there is still room for clarification and improvement,” said Al Van Huyck, Coalition Chair, who also served as a stakeholder on the Envision Loudoun Committee.
Citizens are encourage to follow closely the progress of the plan through review by the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors. The Coalition has established a website page that shows the work to date of the Coalition’s New Comprehensive Plan Review Committee, as a resource for citizens.
